WHAT ARE CHASEPOINTS?
Each Campus Chase event is comprised of roughly 15-20 ChasePoint Challenges. Participating teams must complete a minimum of 8 ChasePoints before crossing the finish line in order to be officially ranked. During an event teams will face a variety of physical, mental, and otherwise adventurous challenges. Because there is no pre-set route, teams must strategize to determine which ChasePoints they will complete, and in what order.
To maintain the integrity of the event, ChasePoints for each race are kept secret until the event begins. However, below are a few examples to provide an idea of some of the challenges that teams might face:
- Football training camp
- Take the plunge from the 10 meter board at the diving well
- A trivia challenge that will test your knowledge of the campus history
- Playing underwater hockey in the Campus Pool Waiter races at the Campus bar
- Human curling at the hockey rink
- A photo/video hunt using the latest Smartphone technology
